University Proxy Servers…
I’m so sorry that I haven’t been updating, it’s just a serious hassle with my university internet connection. They’ve put proxy servers up or something which means that I can’t get onto my FTP to upload/edit stuff. I dunno what I’m going to do with my site… I’ve only got it till March. I think I’m going to edit/simplify it a bit and then just use it as a blog with no content, seeing as how content is impossible to upload…
Does anyone know some layout sites? I found a really good one in the summer but I can’t re-find it. I need some inspiration for a new layout, haha.

Germany, Site Updates, UniversityMooney!
Okay, so my last post (ages ago) was quite depressing really about me not being sure about university and all that. I still maintain that I should have taken a gap year, but I’m warming up to my subjects now. I still haven’t got into the working mode yet (aim is to start work on that tomorrow) and god knows that I’ve a lot of work to do 
ahhhh!
Anyhoots. I might be joining the basketball team which will be an absolute giggle because I can’t play to save my life 
But one of my flatmates is doing it and she seems to l-o-v-e it, which is why I’m ready to rumble… Hopefully I’m not as bad as I think I am.
God. Money is tight 
I need to go shopping for a top, -just a top- tomorrow ’cause I’m going out and I’ve nothing to wear. Like literally, nothing. I’m not the type of girl with a great wardrobe: it consists of hoodies and baggy t-shirts. Ahhhhh. I’ve one nice shirt but I can’t wear it every time I want to go out, you know?
So yeah tomorrow I am: shopping, going out in the evening and somewhere in between fitting some study-time in?

Settling in…
Sorry for not updating and everything but there’s been a few problems with my site (there still are). For some reason whenever I sign into Wordpress I have to really quickly click “Post New” otherwise it navigates away from the main page to this blank screen… Anyone know what’s happening? Before that there was apparently something up with the university’s servers and something called DNS? No idea what that’s all about so maybe this is related… I’m not sure. Hopefully it’ll fix itself soon.
Anyway, I’m settled into university now I think I should have taken a gap year though… I dunno; I’ve been studying in full-time education for 13 years now and without taking a break I’ve just signed on for at least another 4. I’m definitely thinking about taking the year abroad in Germany for the third year. – By then I think that I’ll be dying for a break. But yeah, my subjects are really interesting, loving them, although it is a lot of work… But whatevs. No pain, no gain!
Went to the beach on Sunday with two of my flat mates (Pictures: 1, 2, 3 & 4) which was really cool. – Definitely going there again, but other than that not much is up. My best friend is coming down to Newcastle for the weekend and I’m still trying to work out how we’re both going to fit in my tiny little bed… Hahaha.
Fresher’s Flu
Okay, so I’ve been at university for just over a week now and it’s been good. – Not great, just good. There’s been this flu going around campus that everyone is calling “Fresher’s Flu” and I’ve got it 
Go figure. But (and there is always a but!) it’s been a good excuse not to go clubbing, even though I’d really rather not feel quite so terrible.
Been to a few lectures now and they are all quite good. I must say that I have one very odd lecturer, but I’m sure I’ll warm up to him and his quirky ways. Also I’m rather dissapointed at my level of German grammar; I thought I would be much better than I actually am But oh wells, I can only get better (I hope).
My bedroom. – I share a flat on campus with 5 other people (3 boys, 3 girls in total) all of whom are lovely but who might think me taking pictures of them for my website is slightly weird…
Oh and September’s SOTM is over, meaning that there is a new winner: Charmaine and two new runners-up: Krystal & Damita 
So well done to all of them! Please head off to vote for October’s SOTM here where you can also sumbit your site for next month’s SOTM (please?).
Irony…
I’ve arrived at university! Woo. Well, I did on the 15th but this is the first opportunity I’ve had to update my website (sorry!) Anyhoots, the irony is not lost on me… one of my flatmates here at Newcastle University is studying to be a dentist! (This is why it’s ironic) Lol. I hope he doesn’t find my blog; he might be a bit offended, haha.
Anyway, I’ve just had my 18th Birthday I was well suprised when I went downstairs to catch up with some people and they’d baked a cake for me. That’s just cool! They were all stood there singing when I walked in. I was so happy 
And I also managed to meet up with my parents on the day and do something with them. I had to say goodbye to them today though… My dad was trying not to cry and it almost broke my heart to see him so sad. I’m used to him being the strong one that’s always there for me so I was just so… out of my element? I dunno, I’ve never had to be the strong one for him.
Anyway, I love my presents!! I got driver’s lessons and some money from my parents and my flat mates and everyone have been buying me drinks, so it’s all been good. Better get onto returning comments. I’ll try and update as much as I can but it’s a bit busy… lectures start next week!!
Off to Uni!
You know how sometimes you feel like your whole life has been leading up one point? Well as long as I can remember I’ve always thought, “school. College. University”. I’m done with school, I’ve graduated college with good grades and now it’s off to university… the final stage… I was excited to go to school, I can even remember my first day. I was dying to go to college… But now, the night before I leave for university, I don’t feel anything 
And I don’t get why.
I got into the university I want… I’m going to study what I want to study… Everything I wanted, I got. Maybe it’s just that I’ve left all my friends behind in Hong Kong only to arrive in Germany to make more friends that I now have to leave behind. – Okay, I’ve only known most of these people for three months but it’s the whole thing all over again. – Plus they are a pretty awesome bunch of people

Montists!
Whenever I think about dentists I have to shudder. I mean, think about it… What could possibly possess a person to want to play around in some stranger’s mouth? Oddly I just thought of kissing… But you know what I mean!
You’ve had to have sat in a dentist’s waiting room once, looked around and spotted someone with the most horrendous set of snappers you’ve ever seen. So you sit there in the waiting room, twiddling your thumbs, asking yourself how anyone could neglect their teeth quite so much, but that’s besides the point…
Little Things

Can I just say, why the hell are his trousers still on? For those of you that have unprivilidged lives and have not seen X-Men The Last Stand the screenshot above was taken when Wolverine walks up to Phoenix. Everything (and I mean everything!) is breaking: his skin is flying off (but he can heal superfast) and his shirt is long-gone… But his trousers are still there. They’ve got to be freakin’ superpants! Pfft. Still you have to thank the superpants because it would make for a rather disturbing scene if they flew off too!
Fresh Start
Okay, so I’ve decided to start fresh with a new layout. I’m deleting all my old blogs (again, sorry!) and I’m going to start working on completely re-vamping the site… Quite a job seeing as how I’m leaving to university in… 4 days? :D It’s a time crunch, woo! I’m going to be so sad to leave Germany, I’ve met some seriously cool people here that I won’t see till December which is crazy-far away. Boo.
I’m a bit like a broken record, huh? I keep saying “OMGZ PEEPZ, I’M SO INACTIVE. I PROMIZ I’LL BE BETTER” and then end up doing absolutely sod all. But this time it is going to happen. I’m making myself. I figure, I’m paying for this site, right? So I might as well use it! So I will. I’ll return all comments and I’ll be up with a brand spanking new blog tomorrow or the day after… Maybe with new haircut pictures. I think I can feel your excitement through my computer. Oooooh. Feels good.
